Choosing the right material for flexible heaters usually depends on the process involved. It is important to always determine the maximum operating temperature when doing an application and select the proper heater for it. For example, if you have a product that needs to provide process heat of 120 degrees Fahrenheit, you need to choose a flexible heater that can withstand that temperature. But at the same time, you don’t want to exceed too much on the limit. Higher temperature flexible heaters are usually made from materials like silicone rubber, Kapton film, polyetherimide film or aluminum foil. Lower temperature heaters, on the other hand, are typically made from polyurethane and other thermoplastic films. Some common configurations for flexible heaters include wire elements encapsulated in silicone rubber, etched copper foil laminated between sheets of Kapton, carbon fiber consolidated in thermoplastic films, or heat rope sandwiched between layers of aluminum foils.

My company assigned me the task of evaluating different SaaS business intelligence vendors within the marketplace. I will definitely look at the other BI vendors within the marketplace before making our final decision but Actuate is definitely in consideration as a top choice at the moment.
